I came across Ms. Juanita Bynum. She’s considered a great minister and has been called a prophetess. But one thing that struck and affected my soul while browsing through mementos of her was this song she made.
I don’t mind waiting.
It is true that waiting would be one of the most difficult lessons one has to learn. It involves silence and stillness, which will bring forth inexplicable faith and peace as we learn to just surrender to the One asking us to wait.
Painful at times, you don’t know what to do or where to go next. But waiting teaches us a sense of calmness amidst confusion.
Waiting teaches us to trust Him. He knows what to do and how to do it. All He asks of us is to trust in His impeccable judgment because everything He does it out of Love.
Therefore, I don’t mind waiting.
But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31 NKJV)
